My key wouldnt turn. The key broke. Then i placed scissor tip in and it broke the scissor tip inside the lock. I dont know what to do now. Sentury 1100

Mine feels all crunchy inside. I can't differentiate between a set pin and overset. How do you make sense of the crunch?

There's a small niche of occasions when you want to pick vs break these locks. It may be faster to snap it open with 2 wrenches.

I have a master lock series m40blcdhc and we have them on fuel takes diesel tanks work fine but on the gasoline tank key won't work after a few months maybe the vapers gets inside and than it won't work. Why does this happen on gasoline tank only we are on the 3 lo ck how does the inside works

I’ve just had to pick one that was locking a pull up bollard so quite difficult to do in situ however I raked it very quickly. I then raked it four or five more times on the bench with no problems. Next day I can’t replicate it!! Very frustrating.

Problem here is your picking it upside (from the position that it would be if it were on a door). In my experience the pins fall and make it more difficult.

I found two of these exact locks at home and are my first ones to pick (only started a week ago). I had no idea that these were such a bear to pick for a beginner. One of them I was finally able to rake open only once. The other I picked after a day and thought I finally had it down after several attempts but I’ve been struggling with it again for some reason. Any tips?

i know a lot of people like the top of key way tension but for me, it’s bottom of the key way all day if i can….

coulda just comb picked it in about 3 seconds.. lol

I would rekey the pins, but if this is the only solution....

Thanks for uploading. The only real value I can see in these kinds of bags is transferring funds from a business to a bank where the person transferring it can't get access to the contents. Beyond that, they're not useful for traveling or safe storage.

It's a totally different situation when the lock is ON the door. There is no room for the turning tool and you cannot get leverage to pick because the door is taking up half of the pick-space. Try doing this while on a door and please put a video out.

What happens if the lock is jammed? I've wiggled it 100xs and the latches go down but it won't flip the lock. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I need in it asap

carried one for years, still have it - I was an electrician and you'd be amazed how many panels have lost or misplaced keys when you would need to reset, replace, or turn off breakers.

Fantastic video, especially with the lock breakdown. I don't even call this picking, the 5 try out keys are pretty universal and these locks provide no security; it is very telling when several of the try out keys work on the same lock. If it fits, it opens. I only own a few warded locks because they are pretty much a waste as they offer no challenge to locksport.

I'm 3 years late, I think these are a premium set, I'd say it's a must buy for lock heads 👍
